Collegedale Academy is a Christ-centered private school serving students from early childhood through 12th grade, rooted in a mission to educate, equip, inspire, and serve with academic excellence and spiritual formation. For this project, I wrote website copy that helps the academy communicate its identity, values, and offerings to prospective families while supporting clarity across a wide range of programs.

The core challenge was balancing informational clarity with purposeful tone. Collegedale Academy’s site needed to articulate everything from student life and academics to spiritual growth and community involvement, in language that feels welcoming, thoughtful, and reflective of the school’s values.

My work included:

- Defining brand voice and narrative, expressing the school’s Christ-centered mission in a way that feels authentic and inclusive

- Crafting clear program descriptions, making academic tracks, student life opportunities, and extracurriculars easy to understand

- Structuring content for families, with intuitive navigation and messaging that guides visitors through admissions, campus culture, and community engagement

- SEO-aware phrasing, helping the school’s offerings show up in relevant local and educational search without sacrificing tone

The result is a website that not only conveys what Collegedale Academy offers but why it matters to parents and students — meeting them with clarity, warmth, and conviction from first click to next step.
